Popular Post ollywhyte
Just a thought, I know we’ve done similar on here in the past (Steve Coterill?) Collation of well wishes printed and distributed with a card. Would be a nice touch and I’m sure appreciated. Not sure who organised this in the past. 17 1

Jerseybean
This comes with sincere good wishes for your return to full health. Your health and well being must be the absolute and highest priority, if as implied by Richard Gould [Radio Bristol interview 8 Nov] you are dealing with long Covid you are in fairly unchartered territory. I work in public health so have some awareness of the characteristics, impacts and prognosis of the condition. One thing we have in common is Bristol City Football Club, who I have supported for the last 60+ years, attending my first game with my dad before I started school. Think you will appreciate that a lifetime of supporting your boyhood club has been character-building and has been responsible for many of my best and worse moments and memories! I so very much hope that you will be able to return to good health and be able to lead the work in progress that you have embarked upon. I understand it’s a big and long-term task and certainly see you as the man to rebuild the Club and very much echo your honest appraisal of where we are and acknowledge that this challenge will take time. So, here’s wishing you a full and speedy recovery because your good health is everything. Much more selfishly - please forgive me - your return to full health will enable you to continue the journey you are on at Bristol City FC. Here’s to your good health and the future of BCFC, let’s hope that both are soon in much better shape.
AppyDAZE
Get well soon, Nigel. Your club needs you fit and strong, but your health and happiness must come first of course. Wishing you a long and happy career at BCFC. COYR!

BrizzleRed
Sure you’ve had many battles in your football career Nigel, so just think of this Covid virus as the most dislikeable sod you’ve ever come up against. Keep that thought in your head then turn it onto that ******* virus and give it a right good kicking! We’re rooting for you and really need you back fit and well, but your health comes first and it will take as long as it takes. Look after yourself and hoping we’ll see you back very soon.
