A Well Run Club - interesting podcast ep

MK Dons seem a very well run club with continuity plans across players and managers. This episode of The Athletic podcast is a pretty interesting focus on the club.

Maybe we need someone like Liam Sweeting at our club

I live in Bedford, which is about 20 mins ( on a good day), from the stadium. It really pains me to say it, given the history of ‘the franchise’, but they are pretty much everything you want a local club to be. Stadium is obviously excellent but season tickets are dirt cheap. My son (whose 23) and his mates bought season tickets pre season for £125 a pop, so they can afford to go when they feel like watching some footy ( they all support and watch other clubs). Great community involvement and presence.  Local schools get lots of attention. Local talent really well developed. No one here as a bad word. Bugger.

Expect you would hear similar from many in the Bristol area. But you won't hear that on here. £50 for a kids season ticket? Hopefully they will become City fans rather supporting (and watching - WTF?) other clubs as you say. Any stick to beat the club with I suppose?

P.S. My condolences to you for living in Bedford (and more importantly, having a son who 'pays' to watch MK Dons).

85% possession against Gillingham for example. Gillingham were down to 10 men from 26 minutes so that gives MK an advantage, but still crazy dominance

Please don't mention playing against 10 men... ?
