Everton have always attracted bigger name players in my lfetime.

By a mile.

West ham have had one decent team, in that lifespan.

That was about 1985, and they didnt win anything then,

Historically Everton are "bigger". They've won the league nine times and FA Cup five times versus West Ham's three FA Cup wins. We actually have a higher "best ever" league finish than West Ham - runners-up. They've never finished in the top two.

However, West Ham have the third highest average crowd in English football these days (behind only Man U and Arsenal), are in Europe, and are currently in the top four. I'm struggling to see why Moyes would want to leave that for Everton right now, whose last trophy success was in 1995.

Well the everton chairman wanted somebody to lead them to the top 4.

Moyes has done this before.

He would leave tomorow kid, if everton offered him a four year contract.

As i say, he maybe flavour of the month there now.

That can quickly change.

Gould and sullivan dont exactly have a rep for loyalty to managers.

Dont be surprised to see a bigger club come in for david.

Never saw west ham there selred.

West ham will be a relegation battle over the next few years.

This has happened quite often over the last twenty years, if thats how far we are going back.

I don't know what you mean?

I don't know how you can say West Ham will be in a relation battle. Got a good young squad, plus £100mil to spend next summer when Rice goes.

I'd just like to say, good old Wazza, I've always said he's a lot more shrewd and canny than people ever gave him credit for. He will have a decent managerial career. When he's done with Derby he will be off to a top tier club where he will further prove himself. I predict domestic silverware for Wazza within four years, not sure who with though.

Duncan Ferguson for me if I was an Evertonian - he’s blue thru and thru, hugely popular amongst the fans and wears his heart on sleeve. His passion is what Everton need right now.

Says a lot about their fans then, his record of convictions for assault are worse than Joey Barton and include attacking a man who was on crutches. Great role model.

Criminal convictions only matter if they inhibit someone’s ability to do a job.

Wow! Really? So you don't think that's different for someone in the public eye? Especially in a club based on a church boys team?
