But will he make it in the Championship? We need to know …

Yes , he can’t be classed as an Academy success until he’s either

a) Played 200 games at Championship level , or above

or

b) Won the World Cup

or

c) Scored 350 League Goals

Nothing to see here

In which case let's save time and declare him a failure now.?

I appreciate that there are trolls that you all feel need to be put in their place, but I'm just not sure that this is the appropriate place to do it.

Anyway, congratulations Raphael. If you keep up the hard work you have obviously been putting in, I look forward to seeing you in the first team. .

To add my thoughts on the player, I've heard that he is really well thought of by both the management and the senior first team players not just because he has talent but because he is a likeable & respectful person. I hope he does well.

Yes, very much one with the right attitude apparently. I know that Nige said he was going to stay in his own age group for now, but I wonder if this is a sign that he may be pushed further up the list quicker?

If he was to go out on loan I think it will be a local outfit so our coaches can work with him the majority of the time.

I never understood why those renaissance painters all copied their names from a 90s cartoon ?‍♂️

That's because it would have been a bit naff if they'd taken their names from a 70s cartoon - Scooby, Shaggy, Velma,Daphne and the Old Gentleman that lives up the road!
