We got 1 at Millwall in the FA Cup, can't remember about Portsmouth at home and definitely not Sheffield United away. Forest Green away, Fulham at home and then the two League Cup games...2 in 97 perhaps in competitive games. When was the last league penalty again? Last November at Coventry, 1st Saturday of November but if we want to get the full picture it's one in just under 2 years. 17 months of football, 2020-21 started several weeks each due to Covid. Mr Popodopolous
If we want a picture which is simply games since a) A penalty in the League and b) A competitive penalty then. a) No penalty in 36 League games and counting. b) No penalty in 39 competitive games and counting. Having had a quick look, post Millwall away in the Cup during the Covid season, Its 1 in 79 competitive games and counting. Really depends how you want to measure it. Or 4 in 109 competitive games if we want to go back to the beginning of 2020-21. Edited September 2, 2022 by Mr Popodopolous

cidered abroad
Reference four players getting more than ten goals in a season. It happened regularly when I first watched City from 1950 and continued to mid 60's. Then as the game changed from an attacking game with five forwards to 4-4-2 and much more defensive with the aim to concede less, it rarely happens. Exceptions are rare and very noticeable like our last promotion.
