Red Army 75
Can’t believe they signed him from us. Thought we were going to be stuck with him. Thanks Coventry. Edited September 4, 2022 by Red Army 75
eardun
I saw some fans on twitter yesterday saying they were surprised when he was subbed as they felt he was better than others. Some fans thought he picked up an injury in the first half though so that may have been why he was subbed at HT.
Will Rollason
such a shame, all the talent but.... meh... where do we think he'll end up? Maybe Turkey or China? Got a young family tho.....

Maybe Turkey or China? Got a young family tho..... Got the impression he liked the rewards of being a professional footballer more than he wanted to be one. My guess is that once Coventry eventually bin him off, no doubt after he has earned a few million more, he will decide that playing football for League One or League Two money won't be worth his while and he'll retire early.

!james
Quote Palmer trotted about the pitch, barely pressing. When he got the ball he was dispossessed more often than not. The balls he did play were mostly telegraphed. Just because he looks tidy doesn't mean he's any good or effective
2015
Not only is he not a good player, I think he was a bad egg in the dressing room and Pearson wanted rid

YGBjammy
There are some players who I have an interest in after they leave us and want to know how they are doing. Kasey Palmer is very much not one of them.
Alan Dicks
A player stealing a living from football. Would i do the same if i could? yep.
BCFCGav
Getting Kasey’s wages off the books was one part of a very impressive summer for us. I’ll say this though, there’s a dangerous player in there somewhere. It’ll show one day.

Bris Red
Found his level at Coventry it would seem, probably a high possibility he will be playing league 1 football with them next season aswell

bcfcredandwhite
I’m glad we’ve offloaded him for wage reasons but I’m sure there’s a decent player in there somewhere. He had his own song when he was with us after all
OldlandReddies
He really needs to look himself in the mirror that chap. Needs to realise a footballers career is very short. His could be even shorter at this rate . Such a waste.

Has probably earned over £5m from football which may be one reason why he’s lost any passion he had

Yeah I was thinking yesterday about the difference between Alli and Scott. Both have been wonderkids breaking onto the scene at 17 ish (Alli made debut at 16!) But Alli was better. A mini Gerrard with goals in his game, including from range. He got dozens of England caps before losing the plot. I wonder how Scott's career will develop in contrast...

The point was that Coventry might think they made a mistake by signing him but at least it wouldn’t be a costly mistake seeing as they paid nowt for him whereas we paid x amount of millions, thought that was obvious to be honest
