Midlands Robin
Let's look on the positive side. This seems like the first season in a long, long while when we've started a season without being able to form a first choice 11 from the injury list alone. The medical and conditioning team have done a great job.

Hope I’ve not jinxed it. 1
CyderInACan
I wonder how Benarous will be after 2 ACL injuries - I’m told he suffered one when he was about 8 or 9.

Someone said to me it was his second. But is it same knee? A lot of probs can occur if you’ve damaged the cartilage or other stuff rather than the ACL itself. I lost 2/3rd of my cartilage in my right knee when I did mine, and that caused more issues down the line…the ACL was fine. Admittedly mine was so long ago they used my patella tendon to replace the ruptured ACL, whereas I believe nowadays they take part of the hamstring. That is supposedly a quicker rehab, but of course can lead to hamstring issues. Weimann’s recovery was amazing. He was actually fit by the end of last season, but they’d de-registered him from the playing squad, or else there’s a chance he might’ve played the last 1 or 2.
cityexile
Nice to see they are confident enough to give at least some time frame on Kalas. It’s felt like ‘we will have to see how it progresses and whether he can play through pain’ up to now.
