Never to the dark side
Not every one would be aware of his total dedication to Plymouth Argyle and was known as Mister Plymouth Argyle for his radio commentaries on BBC Radio Devon.

I`m with you John. I`ve posted similar in the Dead of 2022 thread. Some lovely tributes from the Argyle fans at MK yesterday - he was truly loved. His breakfast shows on Radio Devon were great too. The soundtrack to a lot of us down here`s journey to work for many years. RIP Gordon

ralphindevon
Huge outpouring of tributes here in Devon, even had bit on him on radio 2 this morning he really was one of the good guys. Apparently listening to commentary of Plymouth’s win just hours before passing, he’s gone with the Janners on a real high. RIP Sparksy
