WarksRobin Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Blackburn are appealing an EFL refusal to register two players due to late paperwork. Feels like a smokescreen to assuage fans https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64499540 Quote

Mr Popodopolous Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Nixon has covered it in the last day or 2- Lewis O'Brien I think is one, loan with obligation for £10m if promoted. Quote
Midred Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Problem is they're not Chelsea or Man Utd! Quote

Lewis O’Brien (Forest - loan) and Ethan Brierly ( Rochdale perm). They’ve committed to continuing with the purchase of Brierly as they know how much Rochdale will be banking on the money. if you head over to the transfer forum, you’ll see Greg Broughton’s interview. Very informative. 2 Quote

Mr Popodopolous Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 (edited) Nixon says they're still pushing on with their appeal, don't expect a swift resolution- EFL will look to vigorously defend, arbitration will decide either way. Edited February 16, 2023 by Mr Popodopolous Quote
Mr Popodopolous Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 (edited) Their Appeal/Hearing is tomorrow apparently. Dunno if it is the judgement day or it goes Hearing then to Appeal if either side unhappy. Edited February 27, 2023 by Mr Popodopolous Quote

Not really, they contacted about O’Brien very early in the window but were told it was no unless the right thing happened for Forest. Blackburn then get a call on deadline day that something can happen. So it’s wrong to say Blackburn had a month to get it done as it’s only on Forest’s say so anything could happen. Quote
