I remember for a time we had an absolute conveyor belt of brilliant left backs, all the attacking flair in the world.

Then you remember there was one common denominator. Brian Tinnion. He just seemed to know how to bring a left back into the game.

So yeah, i think Wells is good role model for our young strikers at the moment.

With his build, stature, pace, touch and eye for goal he reminds me of a young Michael Owen. 

A young Michael Owen was a real class player

the only thing imo is he never seemed to get any better as he got older

Bell has made a great start Hope he is able to kick on and keep improving

It was the injuries that did for Owen. I read this a few years ago:
