I remember having a walking tour round Preston provided by Lancashire’s bravest boys in blue in the John Ward promotion year.Miles and miles and miles of endless roads.The most aimless of walks to keep us apart from the Milwall of the North!!. Basically everyone was going back to Blackpool to go on the piss however our guides sent us upt moor and down dale to see the delights of proud Preston. Im not sure if we needed to tip our blue helmeted guides at the the time. I didn’t.
