TonyTonyTony Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Great choice for me. Young kids look up to him (Conway/Scott vids), sets an example with his work ethic and an international to boot. Andi is one of my favourite city players in recent years. Well deserved 11 Quote
ExiledAjax Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Just needs two more goals to get into the 50 club. Currently on 48 from 177 games in all competitions. 2 Quote
And Its Smith Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Hard to have an opinion on this without knowing the players personally. So many pros, ex pros and managers say that the choice of captain on the pitch isn’t that important. The main role is off the pitch link between players and manager. No idea if he’s the right choice for that but have to assume he is as Pearson knows personalities better than most Quote

Now obviously we don't know who was on the ballot paper (as it were), but it's being presented as a team decision rather than Pearson's appointment. 1 Quote

Not surprised considering it is more an off field role like I said. 1 Quote

Pearson said in his pre Preston presser that he'd leave the players to pick the next captain themselves. 3 Quote

Nige said recently that the captaincy would be decided by the players. I wonder how many other managers do the same? Quote
One Team Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Based on our run of results and form I had expected it to be Matty James TBH. 1 Quote
View from the Dolman Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Amusing comment from Alex Scott on the Instagram post: "love it dad". Definitely a good spirit in this team. 1 1 Quote
