I bumped into him in the cold meats aisle in Lidl the other day, and I asked him "are you Nigel Pearson?" He glanced away, shifted about and replied, "huh...look...I think the simple answer is that, I, like all other humans, have a unique identity. And, you know, you might attribute a name to me... In fact, if we want to give credit where it's due, which I do, by the way, then we should recognise that my mother first named me... Along with my father. I'm not forgetting him. But listen, we all have names. I'm no different. But I'm not going to be categorised by my name as a specific person just because you media types like to pigeonhole people..."
