Risky though it feels, I’d be tempted to bring Wells on for James or Williams and have both Scott and Mehmeti driving forward from midfield…

Oh yeah, very frustrating but look at the quality of the finish, we've barely got off a clean strike like that, we've created loads and come close hitting the post but it's been scruffy chances and they've really pushed Mehmeti back now, double manning him which is stifling the attack, we need to be switching it side to side, Sykes can run at players too and could cause issues.

Williams does some dirty work for us but can be such a calamitous midfielder at times.

I think you’ve got to give them credit for the goal, Tanner showed him the outside but was perhaps a fraction too far away allowing him to cut inside. Not too many players would have taken that and finished it.

I like Max but his kicks down the flanks are terrible, he can't control his power, he should stick to down the middle kicks.

Regardless of what others were doing Tanner did nothing to stop the guy. He backed off allowing him to advance closer to the goal. He then never got tight enough to make a challenge and allowed the guy to come inside and get a shot on goal unchallenged. Fact is Tanner didn't commit to forcing the guy away from goal or make a challenge to stop the shot IMO.
