Out of interest, what was the reaction at the time, when that replaced the coat of arms?

It wasn’t until about a month ago that I knew Bristol Rovers also used the coat of arms.

I moved house and the cafe up the road had an old “Esso Football Club Badges Sticker Collection” on display.

I’d be more than happy if the club just scrapped all the new Robin logos etc and just went back to the old Robin on a football with the Suspension Bridge behind....be interesting to see how popular that would be?

I actually quite like the 'new' badge

I'm not actually sure why people are so worried about the kit being released?

On the basis of what we have already seen there is a high chance it is going to be awful

As they are now a change kit, rather than an "away" kit, we won't wear it until Wednesday 4th October at Rotherham anyway anyway

It’s a change kit but it will be worn at some point before then, even if there is no kit clash

Morning all. Thinking of taking my 5 year old down to get a shirt tomorrow from club shop.

Can anyone who has bought / seen the junior kits comment on whether quality is ok and/or it has the weird massive collar that some of the adult ones appear to have on pics?

probably gonna have to bite bullet and get one either way as he’s filled his star chart up and been asking for one for ages.

Hoping it will at least look ok though after dropping circa £40 on it

I'm confident it'll be just perfect for a 5-year-old, my friend. I still recall when I was around 7, and anything, even a simple bin liner, would have made me feel like royalty as long as it had a City badge on it! It seems like he's been well-behaved, so I'm really excited and happy for him.

I’m going for away kit to be released on Tuesday and available to purchase from the shop on Wednesday when you can meet the players at the gate!

That makes complete sense ..... so no chance :whistle2:

My boys kit looks really smart. Worn it a few times for training and I’ve not not seen any signs of it degrading yet.

There has been a lot of complaints about the Kit/O'Neils/City/design/quality , just thought I'd add a good & bad of other but bigger Clubs.

Stripes;
First, Rangers. I really like this, colours and design.

Then we have the bad, and Man Yoo

No wonder he looks pissed off, has a face like a slapped arse or a gAss new signing.

Then Arsenal ??

Watford ? ***

Judging by trends our away shirt will be Fugly and stripey

*** I know the Watford is the home one

One of the best new kits IMO is Sao Paulo

Blimey, that Man Utd away kit looks hideous. Agree that the Sao Paolo one is a really nice kit.

6pm ticks past with no cryptic nonsense so looks as though no away kit tonight. Preston just announced theirs so I think that’s 18 teams who’ve released it.

I wonder if Scott was central to the announcement vid and they’re now in an awkward position?

This appears to be the prototype version used by the players last season.

What I (and I assume everyone else) cant understand is how you can bugger up the collar on a football shirt. I mean everything must be templated and cut to size/marked out by computer, just leaving a semi automated stitching/finishing. It's not like they're ballsing up everyone elses kit.

Harry Hill collar is no more? The inconsistency is what baffles me the most in all of this to be honest, it's like every other week there's been a little change made.

Yeah looks to be the older version, as the badge seems printed into the shirt.
