Alessandro
Well that was a better second half at least, fair play. Much more competitive and went down fighting. Shame as arguably the best chance of the second half fell to us - Cornick (much better second half) slashing a half volley straight at the keeper, looked like it was there to be buried, but would like to see it again. OTC well done fella, great little cameo in a hectic game against a physical Luton team. 1 Quote Link to comment

cidercity1987
Quite enjoyed that in the end, we battled hard and made Luton look as average as us in the second half Bloody hope they don't get promoted, nothing good about having that ragtag club in the Prem 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Curr Avon
FT. Lost 1-0. Considering the abject first half, we looked stronger in the second and created some half chances. Best we could hope for in the circumstances. On to Swansea then a welcome international break. Edited March 15, 2023 by Curr Avon Quote Link to comment
Admin Maesknoll Red Posted March 15, 2023 Admin Report Share Posted March 15, 2023 Better second half, but again we lack any incisiveness in the final third. 1 Quote Link to comment
mozo
The 2nd half justified the criticism of the first half. We were capable of better and came out and gave a much better go of it. Quote Link to comment
cityexile
Well beaten by a better side, more comfortably than the score suggests. Equally, credit for not falling apart and giving ourselves some chance until the final whistle. On another day could have nicked an undeserved overall point. 2 Quote Link to comment
Engvall’s Splinter
The last 15 minutes pretty much puts the argument to bed that we couldn’t compete due to missing players. Much better energy, quicker with the ball, urgency to win it back etc. Quote Link to comment

Gazred
2nd best tonight in pretty much every department. Credit Luton, nothing fancy but they totally disrupt your play with their high work rate and intensity. On to Sunday. 1 Quote Link to comment

The Journalist
They’re a good side. Not sure we’ve been given a tougher game by anyone this season (just for balance rather than it being all about us being poor). 2 Quote Link to comment

Curr Avon
On a separate note Burnley only need 3 more wins from 9 for promotion. They'll be too pissed to care by the time they play us! Edited March 15, 2023 by Curr Avon 3 Quote Link to comment

Luton proved that by allowing us to still be in the game. 1 Quote Link to comment
mozo
Big learning experience for Bell that he'll keep getting bullied until he a/develops his man strength and b/learns how to get his body shape right to either win the foul or deny the opposition an angle to challenge him. 2 Quote Link to comment
