Well that was a better second half at least, fair play.

Much more competitive and went down fighting. 

Shame as arguably the best chance of the second half fell to us - Cornick (much better second half) slashing a half volley straight at the keeper, looked like it was there to be buried, but would like to see it again. 

OTC well done fella, great little cameo in a hectic game against a physical Luton team.

Quite enjoyed that in the end, we battled hard and made Luton look as average as us in the second half

FT. Lost 1-0. Considering the abject first half, we looked stronger in the second and created some half chances. Best we could hope for in the circumstances. On to Swansea then a welcome international break.

The 2nd half justified the criticism of the first half. We were capable of better and came out and gave a much better go of it.

Well beaten by a better side, more comfortably than the score suggests.

Equally, credit for not falling apart and giving ourselves some chance until the final whistle. On another day could have nicked an undeserved overall point.

The last 15 minutes pretty much puts the argument to bed that we couldn’t compete due to missing players. Much better energy, quicker with the ball, urgency to win it back etc.

2nd best tonight in pretty much every department. Credit Luton, nothing fancy but they totally disrupt your play with their high work rate and intensity.

It doesn’t put that argument to bed at all. No way we could play that way for 90 minutes. Luton proved that by allowing us to still be in the game.

Big learning experience for Bell that he'll keep getting bullied until he a/develops his man strength and b/learns how to get his body shape right to either win the foul or deny the opposition an angle to challenge him.
