You have to remember this isn’t tik tok or YouTube, misleading headlines don’t work on a forum

I'll be 50 in a couple of years so am loving the innappropriateness here, bless you. I may have had two bottles of superb Portuguese red, so what are you expecting, biting analytical discourse, or reactionary emotional flight of fantasy ??‍♂️

Conte's incendiary interview today, if that was Klopp re Liverpool there'd already be a 20 page thread on here, I wonder which other Championship clubs have a similar fixation

I have no idea what your last line means. Apart from Bristol City why would anyone on this forum be fixated on any other Championship club ?

Really? Are you on the right forum.

Love to ridicule plastics and tourists about their prem team but didn't realise they were here.

Are you serious? I mean, I meant this thread light -heartedly, but are you legitimately unaware of the Liverpool fixation of a great many City fans?

Feel my throw-away comment is being taken rather too seriously. Love to ridicule plastics with the best of them, but anyone trying to deny that Bristol has a significant minority of Liverpool fans isn't from our fair city

I may go and find the Conte interview having not seen it yet, but just wanted to pass on my kudos for being so coherent after two full bottles of wine. Good work.

You should, it's car crash material. And thank you. One tries to maintain certain standards out here in the mountains.

A lot of that interview confirms most outsider's view of Spurs I think, they have always looked pretty and gone through the motions, but haven't had a real team many times since the days of Hoddle and Ardiles.

I am sure there will be a revolt from their precious players led by their Captain though, that will see another Manager brought in to keep the status quo.

There were rumours he had a job lined up for next year, but that does sound like a resignation letter.
He does have a point all the same.
Pochettino said he had to rebuild the whole squad to move on, Levy and the rest disagreed and he was gone. 4 Managers and about £400 million later it looks like he was right. I did see one rumour saying he would be back, not so sure.
I know a few Arsenal fans and my Brother in Law is Spurs so I'd like to see them win something, just doesn't feel likely ATM.

I wouldn't. There's clearly a deep rooted issue at spurs like there was here. Pearson has cleared the rot.

I don't think keeping Kane has really helped them at all, each manager has been almost forced to play Kane I think and that limits options to how you play.  Jose has won trophy's at every club he's managed accept for Spurs, that says something to me.  Conte is no mug as a manager.  Poch was given time and could win anything.

They also went through a stage a few seasons back of securing lots of players on long contracts and I think it ended up making too many players way too comfortable with life, nobody is fighting for anything, managers come and go but the players stay.

As a club they have won nothing for donkeys years, they have now moved to a new stadium, and as Arsenal will testify, that saps resources and takes a long time to find your feet, regardless of how good the stadium is, I can't see them winning anything until they have a proper reset and change mentality.

O'Hara and his cohorts are outraged that he washed his dirty laundry in public while (largely) agreeing with what he said.

Conte is saying how he sees it at Tottenham and few, if any managers are ever publicly call out all the players in this way.

Obviously the players attitude at Spurs needs to change and as Conte says other managers have come and gone and been unable to change their attitudes.

It seems that they need leaders on the pitch not just one or two but three or four. Guys that are well respected off the dressing room and role models to any younger players - exactly why Nige brought in King and James to provide that leadership.
