Suspect announcement was delayed until after England game and Harry Kane could be bought up to speed of situation although I suspect  he already knew as when he was asked about Conte after the game today he deflected the question.

Not a shock after his public criticism of his players and the culture within the club. Surprised that it took Spurs that long to sack him.

In recent years Tottenham have had some quality managers but none of them have taken the club where they want to be. There’s a rumour that the Potch could well return………..

Suggests it's not a manger problem then doesn't it and that Conte maybe quite right with his comments.

Even as a proud Englishman I always think that these big name overseas managers don't really want to be here.

It is only the money and football that works for them, there is a whole load of time away from the game without family or friends and let's face it, our climate and food is not the best.

They earn some good money that they might not even need but rarely seem to fulfill their contract. If a club wants to look overseas, better to go for a promising young coach rather than these big names that I think are partly taken on to impress their international players.

4 managers in 4 years? Not much point in that.

Mourinho and both Rangnick were also pretty critical towards players/staff at Man Utd, and neither of them lasted long really. Look at what happens once Pogba, Ronaldo and a few others leave though afterwards...

There is way too much player power at these clubs, especially at the top. The trouble is, supporters can see it, but for the large part, the managers can't really do much about it. What can you say when your £300k a week player doesn't want to play, or can't be bothered to turn up when it counts - listen to his manager/coach who is on a fraction of their own wage? The balance is not there.

In any normal job, the manager is paid a lot more than their employees. They've worked their way up (unless it's been handed to them), they deal with the criticism from higher management, they should be paid more. 

The next person in at Spurs will probably get them playing some good football for a while, but then the rot will set in again, and the circle continues. Unless the pay structure is sorted at these clubs, by and large none of them will do anything and the manager will be replaced in x amount of time.
