BOURNEMOUTH - Italian midfielder has failed his medical and the deal is now OFF!

So it appears. Is history going to repeat itself? In January, Nicolas Jackson failed a medical and so we reignited the Semenyo deal and it all went through very quickly. The next day I think. Or, if we're still wary of the price, we may move on to someone else of course. This leaves us still needing two CMs so I'd expect us to move for someone quickly.

I don't....think it's a genuine injury.

(I could be naive)

I'm inclined to think you are being naive, Dave.

Just described as 'a knock', with no details given.

Would  'a knock' keep him off the bench? Possibly I suppose.

I hope you are right though, obviously.

Actually Nigel said it's a knee injury and they have to wait for the swelling to go down. So not just 'a knock'.

He’s hardly gonna say “well we are close to a deal so thought it best he stay out so he dosnt get injured” - don’t believe EVERY word a manager says

Nige just said his knee is swollen, they have had it checked (£25m riding on that x-ray/scan!) Nothing serious, should be available next weekend when the swelling has gone down.

Don't think Nige is bullshiting given his distaste for BS

I was simply pointing out that he had not just referred to 'a knock'. Time will tell if it's the conspiracy people think it is.

I don't ever expect BS from Nige, but in these situations directives generally come from above.

Relieved that it seems the injury is genuine. ?
