Latest end of season table prediction.

The below has us finishing on 57 points. Currently 49 points so prediction is an additional 8 points.  Is that two wins and two draws maybe and the remainder losses. If so, it would be a bit of a mixed bag for the run in but still commendable and a positive grounding for next season.

We really should be book marking this point in time. We’re getting really close to having our books in order after the colossal mess left by Ashton & LJ. Nige has done a really excellent job and bought some leeway for whoever succeeds him.

The future is bright.

I’d say that’s a fair shout.

I must say, the last few years at this time I’ve been half questioning if I should renew my season ticket* I always have but this season I’m already really looking forward to next season.

We could have some good clubs joining us from above and below and some grounds not visited for some time or at all. And hopefully a push towards the play offs.

* I’ve noticed they’re called season tickets again and not cards. Thought they’d have come up with a new name as they’ll be neither cards or tickets.

Just comparing from the original post on the 4th of Aril to now.

We are now currently on 56 points and two more matches to complete this season. The prediction on the website above was that we finish the season with 57 points and a negative goal difference of -3.

I think most sporting web sites and associated betting prediction sites do not give us justice on what we can achieve.

We have two difficult matches ahead and my feeling is we grab a point against Burnley and win against QPR from that equates to 60 points.

On another note, look at where Reading was predicted to finish up and look at where they are currently sitting.

However maximum points bring us to 63 points which to me unlikely but having said that what a great season and the potential is there for better things to come season 23/24.

We'll lose to Burnley and I suspect an away draw at QPR. So fivethirtyeight would be bob on (although they've revised their predictions as they constantly do and currently don't think we'll get another point this season).

As for Reading, your table was from 4 April, that was the day they got their -6 deduction. Did that prediction include or exclude that deduction?

Great point E Ajax with Reading. With us maybe 2 x draws might be the conclusion.

They've drawn with Reading and lost to QPR, definitely vulnerable since they've had promotion confirmed
