Davefevs
What a win by Bristol Flyers tonight v Manchester Giants (away) in the first leg (Q-F). 12 points down in the first quarter, they trailed by 2 at h-t. Quarter 3 is usually Flyer’s nemesis but they massacred Giants 28-10, and extended out the lead further in the 4th. Flyers are a well-rounded team, any player can contribute on the night, but they do have one of the leagues best players in VJ King. He has been out for 3 games so started on the bench tonight. Manchester are a team of individuals, all capable on their own but their attacking brand is defensively crap, and we exploited it tonight. I don’t think anyone expected this, in fact a lot of of basketball’s pundits thought Manchester would win the tie. No way they are overturning a 26 point deficit. Second leg on Sunday at 4pm. Another sell-out. 2

Port Said Red
I don't know much about how the game is structured, but this sounds like a big deal. https://www.bristolflyers.co.uk/news/bristol-flyers-to-enter-enbl-next-season/ You would think the need for the new arena would become more urgent with this news. So does this mean they won't be playing in the British league? Or is this in addition?

I don't know but I think both leagues, I am sure that would be noted if they were leaving the BBL? It seems to be a game where they can play a lot of games in quick succession so wouldn't be a hardship.
Port Said Red
Unfortunately Flyers couldn't overturn a 7point deficit from the first league, although they gave it a good go. Still a good season though. https://www.bristolflyers.co.uk/news/game-recap-leicester-riders-75-79-bristol-flyers/ More on the ENBL story here, first British team to enter the league apparently.
