The Curse of the Claw ("Chief Petty Office Russell was right. He was a woman!") is my favourite, but Golden Gordon (the Barnestoneworth one) was also great. Didn't someone start an amateur club called Barnestoneworth United as a tribute?
Oh Louie louie
Another classic robbo. He caught three serious disease's in one day, than a rare Spanish skin disease cheered him up! I think keeping dead rats in his drawer wasn't good hygene wise, as for Winfrey's last case, another classic.
Red-Robbo
I like real sports teams named after fictional ones. A mate's girlfriend played for the London Silly Nannies, a netball team named after the American Football team Peter Griffin coaches in Family Guy. 22A
If you watch on iplayer, the first few minutes show a game broadcast in monochrome. Wow; packed unsegregated crowds and players fairly shoulder charging whoever has the ball, even the goalie. It is still a legal move, but how many Refs would permit a shoulder charge on a goalie these days.
