Over 76.2 million watched The Finale on NBC, which received mixed reviews at the time of airing. Just a superb cast with brilliant supporting characters, and the writing is amazing as well.

Up there with any sitcom in history.
The turtle
This year i watched it all for the first time. Wow What a show. It's just so so funny. Somehow it's considered one of the best ever, yet slightly underappreciated? Kramer is my favourite character. However all of them are interesting and well built. True genius of a show about nothing ........ Seinfeld became a mainstream hit after it moved from Wednesday night to Thursday night in Feb '93. Then I believe Seinfeld repeats aired after Cheers repeats in the summer, and then of course Seinfeld took the 9pm timeslot in the 1993/94 season when Cheers ended. I'm sure Jerry Seinfeld thanked Ted Danson for Seinfeld's success
