Shockwave
Wonder who will be playing for City tonight? Alot of youngsters played against and for Swindon today
Gillies Downs Leeds
Can't make this tonight. Can anyone going report how Leeson does please assuming he plays. Think he has a good chance of breaking through. Might need a loan this season as we have McCrorie and Tanner competing for the right back spot at present. Silvio Dante
I’ll be heading down to Lodge Road early tonight - my youth football team are the mascots for the game. Hopefully that means I can get team news here early doors and will update as the game progresses. 1

Silvio Dante
HT 0-0. City look sharp, Ewan Clark pick of the side for me, great feet out wide. Morrison should have scored from close range - Yate have hit underside of the bar from long range.

OldlandReddies
Kadji the standout v Bath City and again tonight. Imagine he'll be sent to a decent L1 outfit for the upcoming season.

I thought he didn't stand out aside from a few neat moments, certainly didn't dominate the game as he might. Leeson looks good and Francois I think is the star of the team
Silvio Dante
Yeah I thought Kadji was ok but not great. As a team though the pace and movement played with was very impressive
cidercity1987
Yate look a bit better than they did three months ago and without their star striker , hopefully a promotion season

BS3City
Went tonight, was impressed with the tempo. Agree that Clark showed well in the first half, and thought the no.10 (Churchley?) looked willing and mobile (although I'd possibly look mobile against certain opposition). Francois seemed to find it relatively easy when he came on. As for Kadji I agree about a couple of decent touches, but that was about it for me. I've heard it said that Sam Bell has spent the summer in the gym. My opinion is that Dylan would benefit from the same before this opportunity passes him by... Nice pint of Thatchers on offer too...

He's always been a winger, was only moved centrally recently when he made his first team appearances, would be interesting to see him wide in our current system. spudski
Apparently the trialist Goalkeeper for Yate was Bristol City U18 GK Joe Duncan. Getting rave reviews for his performance last night and in previous pre season games. Allegedly City have high hopes for him.

I honestly don’t know Spud. Casa-Grande very well thought of too. Lots of unknowns in the keeper department with Bajic and Harv.

The guy in goal for city though was a headless chicken at times, the reason Yate hit the crossbar from the halfway line rushing out and clearing it straight to a Yate player. Looked good last night - the interesting angle is that Yate signed Paultons POTY Aaron Sainsbury in the summer - he also coaches at City and was warming up last night so looks fit. Be odd for Yate to loan Duncan as well.

City are doing Yate a favour I think allowing him on trial for their pre-season games, the plan is to loan him to a higher division than the one they're in
