They score in a reasonably even game and a handful make their weekly post saying we're awful, and then are nowhere to be seen for the next twenty minutes when we're all over them.

You started watching when we started playing to be fair to people complaining, that said we've been the better team by far over the half and been very unlucky not to have scored, night and day between this game and Birmingham game.

Can't answer that Spike but it sounded like great sustained pressure on the radio and unbelievable it didn't end with Owers roaring for a goal.

We played 42 mins, he say's he has watched 22. Hull did a lot less in their 20 mins than we have in our 22 or so. The only difference is they had someone who found the net with a simple chance where we had 2 who couldn't hit a barn door.

Apart from a 5 minute spell when Hull were all over us I thought we have been good,  before they scored our pressing was very coordinated,

Hull starting far quicker than us, looked like they could carve through us and break our press at will and were rewarded with a deserved goal. Our players all over the place as they get the simplest of goals. For 5, 10 minutes we looked really poor, ragged. 

And then the game just seemed to slowly swing our way - 2 big chances go begging, Sykes (who with Tanner having some real joy down the right) poking over then Williams missing, sorry, but a sitter. Virtual open goal, blasted over from 12 yards.

Then a real barrage from us, last ditch blocks and goal line clearances. Unlucky/really should be level with better quality. 

James and Knight very busy and having good halves - Vyner and Naismith stepping out well and generally marshalling well.

Bell off at HT, perhaps Williams at some point too.

EDIT - linesman?? Need to see that again.
