Parking at Ashton Gate for Away day Coach travel

My son got the away day coach for Millwall a few weeks back and parked at the ground but has now received a parking fine for £60. It was his first time driving to the ground and previously when i had parked there for coach travel , although not for some years , we never paid. He isn't the most observant so probably didn’t see the signs. 

Is this something new or put in place in the last few years ?

If it's the stadium car park, I believe it's been a pay car park for sometime now (regardless of catching a club coach from there, sadly).

 

Somebody else will prob confirm this, but I think it likely your son will likely need to pay the fine

I believe as long as the Rugby isn't on, you need to give your registration in, I think to Jerry the SLO and then you're good to go. I could be wrong as I don't actually get the coach, but that's the impression I was under.

You needed to put your reg in the machine in the club shop. Or there’s a member of staff near the coaches normally and you QR code scan with your phone and pop your reg in.
