You couldn't make it up! In their defence... The programme is fully funded by bet365. It wouldn't exactly be the best look for either party
MarcusX
Yea it’s not quite as Caulker has put it from what I’ve read. It wasn’t TV it was an online platform and solely sponsored by bet365.
Bar BS3
He was a Top Top talent when he was on loan with us - great player with a huge potential. Since then he has come across as a self pitying whinger. All the usual traits of an addict - always someone else's fault without taking responsibility for their own actions. Wasn't it our club at fault for him to keep going to the casino.?! Now he applies for a job (not on TV, but that suits his agenda better) and whinges about the sole funding company, understandably, not thinking he's the right fit for the show. A player I'd loved for us to have had for longer - but a person I have little patience or tolerance for.

He didn’t say it was our club that made him go to a casino and he has taken responsibility for what he has done with his life and the hurt he has caused. A man who suffers from addiction and depression, and a man you’ve never met, yet you have no tolerance for him? Nice 8

A man who suffers from addiction and depression, and a man you’ve never met, yet you have no tolerance for him? Nice Little tolerance. You've literally quoted what I said above & then changed it.! I understand that addiction is an illness - but it also leads to lies, manipulation, deflecting the blame & failure to take responsibility. If you've ever had prolonged, direct effects of an addict then I'd love to know how you maintained higher levels of tolerance with their behaviors. If you haven't, then your not really in any position to miss quote or judge on those that have. It's easy to sit in an unaffected bubble, saying "oh poor little addict, it's not their fault" The reality is that, whilst not always being their fault - once addiction takes hold, they are dangerous & destructive people to have around your life. The fact that the post referred to on thos topic is him feeling sorry for himself for not getting a job that blatantly I justified in not being right for him, is an example of how everything is always someone else's fault. I hope addiction has never disrupted your life, I genuinely do. For those it has, they may have a slightly more realistic view on why I might say what I said above. REDOXO
I suspect most over 40 on here have been close enough To drink, drugs, gambling and other addictions one way or another! Not sure what some of the above has to do with football at this point.

Pub opening times 5.30 - 10.30. pm. May have got 11.0. pm in the dance halls on a Saturday. Betting was on course except a few illegal bookies houses dotted around and drugs was stuff those Rag students whiffed on occasionally.
