Looks like idiocy extends to other clubs as well - handily placed in the table and playing youth what more are they expecting?

Think we can add the other BCFC to that too, sacked Eustace when 6th and quite decent at home especially. In came Rooney.

They wanted no fear football and chasing the revenue. Could work in the long run ie the 2nd bit ie more revenue can mean more on wages etc but they've mostly gone to shit since on the pitch.

Yes would have been a better fit for us than Manning, although I think he would prefer a Northern club

Agree with all that.
But he isn’t young and up and coming and easy to manipulate so doesn’t fit the (latest) mould.

Another delusional club owner/owners messing up a decent position.

Probably.  As Graham says he's too old for an insecure, younger owner.

Fans a bit split it seems. Probably 35% glad he’s gone as taken them as far as he can.

So, at least 35% of Sunderland fans are morons.

Would love him here. Plays good football and seemingly good with young players.

Mental Sunderland have sacked him.

I don’t think he comes here, wanted to stay up in the north east to stay with family so was going to only be Sunderland/Middlesborough tbh.

Mowbray seems that bit harsher with the side he was building and the fact they got playoffs last season. They must have someone big lined up

Tbf they know their club more than we do, from the outside it looks harsh but results recently haven’t been that great. We’d have gone above them had we won yesterday

At least 35% of our fans are morons.  Do you go to games?

The bloke next to me on Sunday only opened his mouth to shout abuse.  One occasion was when a midfielder gave the ball away.  I made the point that he had zero options.  Bloke sort of grunted at me

Let's be honest, he's hardly a small percentage is he?

Amazingly Watford- Watford ffs- are keeping or have thusfar kept the faith with Ismael.

He must have some inside knowledge on the owners. No manager normally lasts more than 3 months at Watford with a less than 50% win record. And remember they still have parachute payments…

Funny you say that as certainly the club this summer seemed to take the view it was actually the players who were the problem and got rid of some allowing Ismael a say in who comes in too.

We also sacked the Director of football

The expectation isn't for promotion particularly this season although things can change quickly of course and naturally he still needs to get results.

There were certainly fans calling for a change a few weeks ago (well actually some when were 2-0 down to Norwich a week ago..) but then those types would probably have a new one every time their team didn't win and play well.

That’s the usual Watford approach, to be fair.
