1960maaan
Losing 2-0 and Ruddy kept the score down. Not watched it all , but the bits I've seen Cov well on top and created plenty. We should go there with confidence of getting something. Unless the Cov fans are right and Rooney is getting sacked in the morning

Popular Post Better Red
Had a manager who was doing a good job and  had them near the top 6. The fans liked him and It looked like they were going in the right direction. They sack him bring in a new younger manager and the drop down the table like a stone. Sound familiar? The clubs initials BCFC….. 21 2 1 2

Better Red
If we beat them and he is still there it will be his final game before they sack him. I did not think he would get to Christmas and not changed my mind.
Mr Popodopolous
Both BCFCs at this level appear to be run by idiots. The Eustace sacking was probably worse but both were ridiculous. Edited December 8, 2023 by Mr Popodopolous 9 6

Mr Popodopolous
Read on a Birmingham forum that there were chants of one John Eustace heard at their game tonight. 1

No we really got to go to teams in that sort of form and show what are top suits in the club have clearly indicated. That we are a top six side. 2

Coventry fans have criticised him in the past for his lack of goals. Think the adrenaline was running high tonight for him especially as playing a club he has a personal connection to through family. Coventry put him through his rehab etc and it's likely he'll either leave in Jan or in the summer as his contract expires then. He was annoyed before that Coventry didn't let him join Burnley before his injury so will be interesting to see how that plays out.

However the board of Birmingham who entered in the summer, kind of a staged takeover they are still in a honeymoon period with their fans as they took or are in th process of taking over from their woefully incompetent HK owners..failed FFP, subject of EFL investigations over ownership, sacked Rowett for Zola etc. Prior to that the guy who took over from Gold and Sullivan borderline ran the club from a foreign prison for a while. A good chunk of St Andrews has been unavailable for a while, 19-20k capacity for a few years now. New owners/eventual owners putting in cash to rectify as well making a push on Safe Standing. I think they are still pretty popular. Some mutterings about Garry Cook though..

GrahamC
Coventry seem to be repeating last season, a slow start (far more understandable last year) now on a very decent run. Only 5 points off the playoffs & both 5th & 6th are occupied by sides that aren’t really in contention with the top 4. Perhaps despite one poster on here repeatedly claiming Robins had lost it, he hasn’t after all.
