Conway seems to be the main culprit having missed 1 on 1s in the last three games, one of which was today. I’m not sure how far away Wells’s recovery is but his return can’t come too soon. A player with his experience would surely add quality to the front line and also bring the best of Conway - they’re good mates off the pitch and TC values and benefits from his on pitch presence. Trying to sign a recognised goalscorer in January is a pretty hopeless task. They just aren’t available.. The only thing the coaches can do is concentrate with Conway on one on ones which with Mannings ‘new’ style of play is likely to create similar situations as the season progresses.
