Been watching the TV coverage of last night’s game this afternoon and it’s much better for assessing the positional set up - which is the same for rugby! Although, I dislike like the frequent changes to pitch side etc. fine for any replays. As an example the change to pitch side missed the timing of Tommy’s run for the goal, which again happens in rugby coverage! Same. It's personal preference. I think the higher the better which gives the clearest picture of patterns of play and positional sense. There's nothing worse than low down where it's all squished and compressed and difficult to disentangle. The new Wembley had a similar high position when first opened which was great but sadly they brought it down to between tiers after a while. Only slight complaint with current setup is that the operator is a bit laggy sometimes and could do with using a slight zoom now and then. 1

A camera in the Dolman is a good shout. Usually teams have the camera on their poorer stand to show off the better one. Maybe the limited access in the Dolman is a consideration. I'm pretty sure, when the rugby first came here, when the Lansdown was under construction, they used a camera in the Dolman where as we used a camera on a temporary structure. I'm sure I remember that being the case.

Can't remember anything in the Dolman, maybe it was just for the rugby
