whale Posted January 27 Report Share Posted January 27 I'm looking at booking a venue in Bristol, maybe in Bath, for a Birthday in April. I've tried a few places already but wondering if anyone has any experience of booking out or attending any events at venues that they would recommend? We are ideally looking for a space of up to 60-70 people where we can play some music through Spotify, space for people to have a dance if they want to and a range of drinks available. We don't need food or any catering and don't really want to be spending more than £200 which is proving a bit tricky as it'll be a Saturday night! Any ideas would be appreciated! petehinton Posted January 27 Report Share Posted January 27 Had the same issue for my 30th next month, Hen & Chicken is probably a shout as it’s the lowest one with a booking fee I could see. Racks had some pretty ridiculous clauses of amounts needed to be spent on food as well as drinks. Ended up booking Steam Crane on north st for free, incredibly nice and accommodating, basically said I could book whatever area I wanted for free and more than welcome to bring in our own food etc if we want to as well.
