I presume it’s because the 1&2 provide parking that they aren’t free
Admin phantom Posted February 2 Admin Report Share Posted February 2 In addition for anyone travelling tonight by bus, First are doing an offer this week that up to 5 people can have unlimited group travel for just £
Bristol Rob
The limited routes of the AG bus services are quite frustrating, I'm sure if the club under took a comprehensive travel survey they'd be quite encouraged by those who'd like to use more public transport, if it was available - they might even be able to profit from a scheme. There are fans in Longwell Green, Kingswood, Gloucester Road, Keynsham who all have to take multiple busses to get to BS3 on a match day which come with additional challenges getting home - so the default setting for a lot of people is to take the car. Bring back the match day "specials" letter L from Knowle West. Drivers and Conductors sat around the perimeter of the pitch and leaving 10 minutes before time to man the long line of buses the length of Duckmoor Rd. The Humble Realist
Yeah I thoguht it was a bit hollow to only offer one service as free in the aim of being 'green'. I also liked them promoting walking trails for an evening match! Pretty dark walking round Ashton court at 7pm in February!
