I thought they would go straight back down. Add in the loss of their manager and Azaz and they would have been nailed on to struggle. Jose
4 minutes ago, firstdivision said: Wonder if the Stoke forum will be in meltdown tonight. Our fan base is very patient compared to most no matter what some would tell you on here.Oxford fans already fed up with their manager. Swansea fans wanted Duff gone along time before he did. ( managed the same as manning). Sunderland fans had a poll on twitter with 3000 votes 92 % wanted Beale out. However bad things are at the moment you don’t have anyone calling for Mannings head. Rightfully so off course.

All seems a bit made up to me - if they did bid that there`s no way Argyle would have said no IMO.

Mr Popodopolous
Was always fairly confident Plymouth would be fine, mainly on the strength of their home form. Being free scoring at home helps too. Hopefully Tottenham get 4th. Happy for Andi, hope he prospers at WBA. mozo
Ipswich will finish 4th and not go up. Then next season they'll be back with us in midtable.
Mr Popodopolous
Birmingham and Stoke could also slip into the scrap. Edited February 3 by Mr Popodopolous
DaveF
Could Blackburn possibly go down? No league win since they beat us on the 12th of December and their last 9 games of the season look very tough (except against us). They've got Boro, Ipswich, Sunderland, Southampton, us, Leeds, Wednesday, Coventry and Leicester...
Mr Popodopolous
Just checked the table. We're 9 points off 6th, 10 off 5th. Having played a game more than both. Think we can confidently cross us off I'd that wasn't already the case 2-3 weeks ago.

Next 4 games, all against teams vying for promotion/Play Offs:- Hull A Leeds H Ipswich H Sunderland A They’ve also got Baadiff at home! Rumour doing the rounds yesterday was they are in significant financial trouble & Jon Dahl Tomasson threatened to resign last week. Be interesting to see how that plays out.
