If we get extra time that's more subs so it's potentially half a game they're playing

Exactly this.

We can still make two more inside the 90 & if it went to extra time, a further one.

Just worth pointing out though that after Wells the next most experienced sub left is Taylor-Clarke, who didn’t have a squad number at the start of the week.

I’m sure I heard that VAR wouldn’t be used if it wasn’t available at both venues. Am I right in thinking West Ham didn’t use it because we wouldn’t be able to have it in any replay?

Maybe I’m confused.

That was the rules in the league cup semi finals.

FA Cup uses VAR at the ground of Prem sides.

Ref: Need a VAR review of the Forest goal

VAR team: Sorry we were watching the Villa Chelsea game but Forest are the premier league team so OK to allow it!

Ref: Need a VAR review of a possible penalty to Bristol City.

VAR team: Sorry we're still watching the VIlla Chelsea game and have seen a great free kick, but Bristol City are not a premier league team, and it's Bristol City so no penalty!

We certainly sound to have lost some flow after the run of subs, but in fairness that is likely as much to be that they have brought on some strong players as much as ours.

Generally we just run out of steam and ideas

Not sure how to feel about our attack completely changing every single game

Pros:    .The players are refreshed

.The opposition players aren't used to how they play

Cons:  .They aren't warmed up so they won't start to sharp

.They're B team players low championship quality at highest usually

What are your thoughts? 🤔

Then why make the change.

Or why make the change at that point..feels a tad disruptive and needlessly so.

Because its difficult for Roberts to sustain more than 60 minutes with so little football in his legs
