Agreed, albeit even then owners pour stuff in.

I wonder when Shahid Khan will get an ROI at Fulham? This is a Parachute, PL cash bolstered club. To a lesser extent NSWE at Aston Villa.

Probably many more. Knighthead at Birmingham must be playing a medium to long term game indeed.

Leveraged Buyout is another way or course but you need a club with a major and consistently high revenue, large Cash Reserves (Burnley) or some mix of the 2.
