Spike Posted February 17 Report Share Posted February 17 I'm not jumping on this because I'm not sure what the situation is, I wonder if he was on the bench encase we had another game where we were comfortable and he could come on and get some minutes without having to push himself. Obviously that never happened and so maybe Manning didn't send him on because he was concerned he'd push himself and get re-injured. Even if for a reduced time as coming back from injury, but he has been playing all season, and has not had a long-term injury. I agree we don’t know the whys and wherefores of his being on the bench but somehow I still believe he’d have provided better than we had. Sure for the starting 11, also maybe not upto 90 mins. But zero mins in a game we were quite awful in, against a bottom 3 side at home ?
