Popular Post Redland
There is no way that this run of results would’ve been acceptable under Nigel Pearson. After all we are told we have a squad which should be in the top six and we are currently 12th and falling. Only nine points above the relegation places with two defeats in succession against bottom three sides. At this rate even if we avoid relegation this season I can see us being in a relegation battle next season, particularly if we lose the experience of James and Williams in midfield. It seems that there is one rule for NP and the another rule for the replacement. Edited February 24 by Redland 38 1 7 1 1 1

Popular Post Capman
Let’s be honest. Sacking Pearson was nothing to do with football. So the comparison is pretty meaningless. 49 1 3

W-S-M Seagull
Should be. He is not the right fit for us. He is not the right guy to take us forward. 14 1 1

sglosbcfc
Wednesday were extremely poor today, but beat us with 10 men...worrying.
Shauntaylor85
I am sorry but it’s not going well? What loyalty do we show to him? LJ had many chances because an ex player, Nige was dealt a poor hand and was developing the club, trying to move us away from being a soft mentality. Not sure what on earth we were thinking. Living off a cup win (which we made hard work of v 10 men). Not convinced at all. He isn’t going anywhere but this has SOD/McIness vibes. 9 points from relegation zone. 11 from play offs. So poor. Two dreadful performances and January business which has failed to lift anyone. Tinnion culpable here too.

Popular Post The Coach
It’s becoming apparent Manning was the wrong appointment and I’m very much now in the camp of wishing Manning was gone. With that, I’d wish JL and BT admit they’ve got it wrong and would remove Manning and his coaching staff now. However, we know that isn’t going to happen. The club will throw money at Manning to support the decision that removing Pearson, who had been one of the popular managers here. Was indeed the right decision and try to prove the fans wrong. Manning won’t go anywhere unless things go real south. He will be here for another year or two, money will be thrown about to defend the appointment. We will end up on a financial tightrope again. Experienced head comes in to steer the ship. Rinse and repeat. The Lansdown way. 24 3

bearded_red
Not impressed by Manning or the utterly tedious football his team attempts to play, but removing Brian Tinnion and Jon Lansdown would be a much better start. 14

We sacked a really good backroom team and leader and quite frankly we are now worse off. JBFC II
Issue is would we trust the board to make a good appointment? They've made 14 appointments in the last 25 years, how many of those have seen us finish in the top half of the championship? 2? Ultimately if Manning gets sacked will anyone better come in? I heavily doubt it 4
