Why hasn’t Manning been sacked?

There is no way that this run of results would’ve been acceptable under Nigel Pearson. After all we are told we have a squad which should be in the top six and we are currently 12th and falling. Only nine points above the relegation places with two defeats in succession against bottom three sides. At this rate even if we avoid relegation this season I can see us being in a relegation battle next season, particularly if we lose the experience of James and Williams in midfield. It seems that there is one rule for NP and the another rule for the replacement.

Who do we get next time?

I am sorry but it’s not going well? What loyalty do we show to him? LJ had many chances because an ex player, Nige was dealt a poor hand and was developing the club, trying to move us away from being a soft mentality.  Not sure what on earth we were thinking. Living off a cup win (which we made hard work of v 10 men). Not convinced at all. He isn’t going anywhere but this has SOD/McIness vibes. 9 points from relegation zone. 11 from play offs. So poor. Two dreadful performances and January business which has failed to lift anyone. Tinnion culpable here too.

And would anybody trust the people making the decision?

Look at Hull. Fans are loving the owners, their fans are laughing that they managed to get Carvalho over Twine! Ronaldhino is coming to visit them too! Compare our recruitment to Hull.

Think you should change the title from Manning to Tinnion

Both!

He won't be here in November and we'll go round and round again. So far it is a very poor appointment, close to as poor a decision of the sacking previous

Yes, we are a hamster wheel. We sacked a really good backroom team and leader and quite frankly we are now worse off. We’ve gone from a PL award winning CEO, a PL manager who has won this league to these two in charge!

If you look at our run in over the next few weeks we could be falling like a lead balloon.  Not looking good.

Issue is would we trust the board to make a good appointment?

They've made 14 appointments in the last 25 years, how many of those have seen us finish in the top half of the championship? 2?

Ultimately if Manning gets sacked will anyone better come in? I heavily doubt it

Think you should change the title to the board. Problem is in the boardroom not the just the dugout.

We know they read this site, until there is constant pressure on certain people they will continue to have the ear of the people in charge, stop blaming managers and go for the person who actually needs the boot
