We sacked Pearson and brought in Manning because Pearson was underperforming and we have a “top six side”. Remember we were told that Manning was appointed because we are going for promotion this season. Joking aside, even if we miraculously avoid relegation this year I think we’re an odds on certainty to go down next season with Manning in charge.
