There have been quite a few h-t intervals when Bajic has come out to warm-up, and does it with such intensity that I’ve often wondered whether Max has a knock and he’s coming up.  Guess he prepares professionally just in case.

Hes like the no6 padding up at the start of an innings, just in case!

In most teams I’ve played for this is pretty much standard….. Don’t tend to have long games if batting first

That has definitely crossed my mind, but there is also the issue that we play one up top and Wells wants and arguably deserves his share of minutes.
