22A
Haven't seen any other post on this. It was announced yesterday the proposal for Prem clubs to only be allowed to spend on their squad 4.5 x the money of the lowest placed club. Currently that club received 100 million, so they would all be limited to a spending cap of £450 million. 16 clubs voted for it, Chelsea abstained. Villa and the Manchester two voted against claiming they have more money available to spend than that. This proposal would see them with earnings they can't spend. Oh dear; how sad. Could those three clubs lower their match day prices which in turn would lower their earnings to that £450 million level.
Admin phantom Posted May 1 Admin Report Share Posted May 1 I wasn't surprised to see the two Manchester clubs vote this way, and in all honesty would have expected a few others to have voted that way As for Villa, that is an odd vote

Scared of not being the best in Europe.
