cidered abroad
I believe you voted for Pulis instead of Moyes, probably because you know sod all about football. Well, the aforesaid Moysie is available in a week or two so for once do the sensible thing. Perhaps even keep Manning here so he can see what a proper manager is like. 1 2 2

reddogkev
That's an interesting idea, if Moyes would drop down to this level now. Did Manning work with him at West Ham? How about if Tinns could go back to academy and DM could come in as DoF?

A few genuine comments: Moyes does not have upstairs interference. FAIL. Moyes would want a proper Budget. FAIL. Moyes is not renowned for playing front foot football (albeit give him a good side in the Championship and it might be different). FAIL. If he was given that budget he would attract players that would make us a contender in this league. PASS. Three of the above four stars do not align unfortunately. 1

22A
When Moyes was managing PNE, City were interested in him, but the then directors of Preston refused City permission to speak to him.

Sorry mate, that mistake was definitely John Laycock's. They had a short list of 3, the other was Peter Taylor.. And we ended up with Pulis...
Malago
I suspect Lansdown thinks his biggest mistake was getting involved with Bristol City FC in the first place.
