Look back 7 posts on this thread. Rule 12 - I’ve kindly copy and pasted it from the FA website. It clearly states “unnatural body”

Not sure what is being mis-read : It is an offence if a player: touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. Yes Merse the body being unnaturally bigger isn't the offence.

However VAR reviewed the decision and it has now been over turned. VAR saw the vote result as a clear and obvious error!

Jerseybean
Premier League clubs vote to keep VARpublished at 13:41 13:41BREAKING The Premier League has just issued a statement, saying clubs have voted to keep VAR in the competition. A statement reads: "Premier League clubs today voted in favour of continuing to operate VAR in the Premier League. While VAR produces more accurate decision making, it was agreed that improvements should be made for the benefit of the game and supporters." glynriley
Voted to keep 19 votes to 1. Hopefully the first interviewer of a manager (not GON) complaining about a decision next season, tells him to STFU and suck it up as his club voted to keep it. 3
westred1
Genuinely shocked by the outcome. Thought the majority would be for VAR but 19-1 is mind-blowing.
Markthehorn
Bit of a pointless vote . https://x.com/JacobsBen/status/1798697817126646062?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet Wonder what changes will be made if any ? Only use it for factual decisions maybe
Davefevs
To be fair 10 clubs benefitted from VAR and 10 clubs lost out to VAR, was never in with a chance.

RoystonFoote'snephew
What a shock! Another example of clubs not listening to their fan base.

Mr Popodopolous
Wolves were the ones who brought the motion, presumably they voted for but anyone else?

downendcity
Had clubs voted to get rid it would have been retained after review, as it would have been judged a clear and obvious error!
exAtyeoMax
I suppose it will give them something to say next season when it's a total balls up again, "well you wanted to keep it!!"

I would disagree, the actual VAR system (which they voted on) is not a problem it is the people using it that is the problem The time taken, the lack of comms with the crowd It has already been confirmed that the new offside system is to be used next season (and we have already seen how quick this works) the refs etc will be communicating with the crowds more next season so there shouldn't be any issues per se It has also been proved that the errors were very low and decisions wouldn't have needed to be overturned
Riaz
Gutted they are keeping VAR. Need rid of it. If city got up to the prem, you wouldn’t ever celebrate a goal again. The best bit of a game. Shyte 2
