Guest zider_head Posted December 14, 2003 Report Share Posted December 14, 2003 nope but i have a intresting bet on the go i placed £1 that city would be within 6 points of the top of the leauge at the end of the season along with ipswich 7 points and yeovil 9 points all at odds of 18/1 i placed £1 on each and a £1 treble at odds of 18 x 18 x 18 = 5832/1 so could be on for a 5 grand win if things go well I got £10 on that michelle in pop idol at 10/1 a couple of weeks back as well. To be honest I'm having a goodish month i bet online with bet365 usally and at presnt i am £180 this month and i have 30 odd quid account balance so i will probabley stick £20 on bournmouth tonight at odds of 10/11 so if they win i pick up a profit of £18.18, i dont really mind as the money is profit from real madrid last night and a four fold i had that also came in last night. I do really think that the Michelle will walk pop idol this weekend and think its free money at 8/11 on to be honest so i may stick a few quid on that (see previous post) I also think spurs are good at evens to be a poor boro side at home later this week. Guest zider_head Posted December 15, 2003 Report Share Posted December 15, 2003 yeah true but if you play it clever you can make a bit here and there, I find following a few simple rules helps :- - know what your betting on - no silly bets on basketball or politics etc - read up on it - use websites - only bet on horse or dogs over evens - never use online casinos (####) - try not to do to many accum (keep to singles unless small stakes on football etc) only always this is the golden rule Bet what you can afford to lose and not worry about too much Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just stick to doubles and singles and only bet what you can afford. The reason I stopped was the research process took too long and the stakes I was putting on didn't really provide me with substantial enough wins.
