Kibs
Even if we could afford Steve Howard, Why the F C U K would he leave a team at the top of the league for a team in the relegation zone????

Cider red
It is Steve Howard, fact. ← 1: how do you know this?? 2:Why the hell would he want to come to us when he is with luton who happen to be top after winning all of their five games? 3: Why would luton sell him to us when they have clearly stated he's not for sale? 4: Would we be able to afford the huge fee they want?? (i doubt it) I doubt very much that its him , infact if it is him i'll eat my hat. (i'll have to buy one then eat it as i dont have a hat)

Guest Tom Taylor
I've had a look on the PFA site to see what experienced strikers over 6 foot tall are still available on "frees". Not much, as you would expect - age is in brackets followed by height:- Andy Preece (37 -6ft 3) Carlisle Christopher Hackett (21 - 6ft) - Oxford David Reeves (37 - 6ft) - Chesterfield James Hughes (27 - 6ft) - Cardiff John Murphy (28 -6ft 2) - Blackpool Kevin Nugent (35 -6ft 2) - Swansea So any target is going to cost money - have we got any? Why did we let Matthews go?
Wilksi
no to all of them.. and we let matthews go because he was/IS always injured.. he is having a purple patch at vale just like peacock.. it wont last. I'm glad hes gone!
