RedM
I just saw the highlights from yesterdays match. Why did Tinnion try to prevent the Rushden player being sent off? There was 2 yellow card fouls in a few mins, late in the game but it looked to me that the player deserved to go. It wasn't even Tins that got fouled but Wilkshire. Tins should have stayed out of it. We need a decent keeper, Phillips worries me more every match.
LSN
yeah i saw that on goals on sunday. Nice bit of profesionalism but to be honest- if your team can get an advantage (any other way apart from cheating!) then whyh stop it?
Akira
yeah i would agree AND disagree.i didn't see the fouls but if he didn't deserve to go off and tinnion felt that then i think it was good of him to try and stick up for the player, but the referee's disision is final.i think robbie fowler did something like this AGES ago.it was a penalty and he felt it wasn't a penalty and he argued but the ref still sed penalty.so he stepped up to take it and put it over ON PURPOSE. but tinnion should have stayed out of it,persistant arguing with the referee will see you getting yourself booked. Robbored
Its an assumption to say that Tinnion was asking the ref not to send the guy off.He may have been saying that the guy should have been sent off earlier...
Port Said Red
He was probably saying that if Bignot got away without being sent off then so should Mills. Consistency is what is lacking.
