Tinnion, Preventing Red Card?

I just saw the highlights from yesterdays match. Why did Tinnion try to prevent the Rushden player being sent off? There was 2 yellow card fouls in a few mins, late in the game but it looked to me that the player deserved to go. It wasn't even Tins that got fouled but Wilkshire. Tins should have stayed out of it.

We need a decent keeper, Phillips worries me more every match. :(

yeah i would agree AND disagree.i didn't see the fouls but if he didn't deserve to go off and tinnion felt that then i think it was good of him to try and stick up for the player, but the referee's disision is final.i think robbie fowler did something like this AGES ago.it was a penalty and he felt it wasn't a penalty and he argued but the ref still sed penalty.so he stepped up to take it and put it over ON PURPOSE.

but tinnion should have stayed out of it,persistant arguing with the referee will see you getting yourself booked.
