5th of the season today so misses next Saturdays game against Colchester, along with Coles.

Smith is available after his suspension, so Coles will be replaced with either him or Amankwaah. Midfield could be more of a problem though....

Doherty suspended, Tinnion struggling with the knee all week and then subsitutes himself in the second half today after coming on about 20 minutes earlier. Wilkshire in the centre with Goodfellow back?

Or if Tinnion isn't fit he may play Brown in his place. By teh sound of teh commentary he played really well for the 15 or so minutes he was on.

No, Tinnion may be tempted with playing a midfield of:

Murray Orr Brown Wilkshire

He could also put Fortune in defence alongside Butler, pushing out Hill to LB, then Bell will take up left wing with Wilkshire being pushed in, in place of Brown

Murray Orr Wilkshire Bell

I can't see Goodfellow coming back or Woodman. It will depend on whether he wants Brown or Fortune to start the game.

To be fair to Doherty, he was a little unlucky to pick up a yellow card toady. He appeared to have slipped before the bloke with the ball arrived and accidently clattered into him.Bearing in mind how wet and slippery it was the ref was harsh in producing a yellow.

That said, Doherty was fortunate not to get a red after he mouthed off to the ref for booking him. When will he learn that you simply can't do that.

What was suprising was that no City player tried to get Doherty away from the ref.

Fortunately, the ref was lenient as far the red was concerned.

He'll learn.

When it's too late.

You'd have thought after just coming back from a two game ban for using foul and abusive language maybe he'd have learned by now!
