22A Posted January 3, 2005 Report Share Posted January 3, 2005 In tonight's local paper, Barry F is quoted as saying "I was 20 yards behind the incident and didn't actually see what went on, but there was blood everywhere. I was taken into the Bristol City treatment room to see Butler and I was told Platt was involved". Platt did not play v Luton today and when asked why in his BBC radio post match interview at 5.30 tonight, Fry announced "Platt has been in hospital all Sunday and Monday having an operation. It's just rubbish coming ou of the other end". Presumably the other end refers to Ashton Gate. This will either be a whitewash or else run and run.
